Arbor Pros pick out some laurel oak trees with a 70 ton crane. Our client at Lake Talquin off of highway 20 in Tallahassee needed these lakeside trees removed. The larger one had decay in the main trunk and was close proximity to the back of the house Since lake edge winds are excessive and unpredictable and the tree is unsound we decided to remove it. The other tree was the same species of oak and was growing in a peculiar way out of a 20’ tall embankment and bending over a high dollar boat house. Two structurally compromised trees with high valuable targets chosen for complete removal. The job was harder than we planned due to the long distance to the lake edge tree but with patience and diligence we pulled off a win for our client by removing the trees safely with no damages to the surrounding property.
